I discovered opera using the linux OS six years ago and it became my browser of choice.
I noticed that the widows version is always getting updated but never the linux version
Why are they forgetting use.
We put you on the map. -

Stable 26 installs on Ubuntu 14 and Debian 7 Testing, but not on Debian 7 Wheezy.
Because it has some dependecies. See http://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2014/12/frequently-asked-questions-opera-linux/#comment-1723367026 -

Before attempting the stable install, I would be interrested to know whether I need to uninstall my 12x version first, or is it possible to have them both without conflict ? ~/.opera -- will there be a separate folder for version 26 ?

Why don't you have a look at @angiesdom's link as it says something about FAQs... Maybe you'll find the answer there... :drunk:

@ocky It will conflict, so Opera 12 will be removed when you install 26 but your settings will be intact. You can have both installed if you install Opera 12 via a tar package.
The reason they conflict is that they share some files, most obviously
/usr/bin/opera
that are in the same location. The tar package uses the path/usr/local/bin/opera
for that file, so no clashing. -

Enable mhtml in flags (save as archive) is not functional. Also broken in Chrome - probably after recent updates.
