Keeps asking to be default browser

Opera GX is my default browser, but every launch it asks me to do it default browser, despite the fact that it already is.

Windows or macOS?

If Windows, what version of Windows? And, did you install Opera GX just for the current user to "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs\Opera GX" or for all users to "C:\Program Files\Opera GX"?

You can goto the URL opera://about and check the "install path" and "installation type" values.
