Default audio device

Many computers have more than one audio device. Browsers (Opera including) pick the default one, but I've often felt the need to pick a different device for the browser.
Audio and media applications such as WinAmp etc. all offer such a selection in preferences. Could this be added to Opera as well? (It would give Opera an advantage over the other browsers who also can't do this.)
