Opera Mini web browser powers Samsung Gear S

For some reason, smartwatches have been stripped of an internet browser – until today. We’re happy to announce that Opera Mini has become the first web browser on a Tizen-based smartwatch, the new Samsung Gear S.
Have a closer read and see the screenshots of Opera Mini on the Opera blog

Please Help! I am unable to install Opera Mini Web Browser on my Gear S (See detail below)
To start I had a AT&T Gear S - I used my Note 3 and Gear Manager to select Opera Mini - installed it and it worked great on my Gear S - in fact IMO it's the KILLER APP.
I purchased a new Gear S (Verizon) and went to my Note 3 and Gear Manager and selected Opera Mini and it tells me it's already installed (Yes I get it.. it sees the install from when I installed it on my AT&T Gear S). With all other apps like this i'm able to go into my Note 3 and into App manager and delete the app (sometimes there is a Gear S child App). Once I delete I can go back into Gear Manager, select the App and it allows me to install. I did this with Strava and Runtastic but OPERA MINI does not work because I find ZERO record of it on my Note 3. I have spent hours looking at my apps on Note 3 and see NOTHING for Opera Mini.
Ask - Please tell me what Opera Mini Web Browser installs on the Note 3 ... what is the file name I should be looking for to delete. I need to remove it so that I can re-install it.
Thanks.

I have somewhat of the same issue, and have been trying for a few weeks to get help. I installed Opera on my Samsung Gear S watch and it was fine. Within 24 hours of getting my watch, it crashed after I tried to take my heart rate while running.
One of the results of the crash was that several of the app icons disappeared. Opera was one of them. The watch had to be reset. After the reset we tried to get Opera back on. There is something still on the watch that is fooling the watch and subsequently my phone, into thinking that it is still installed. There is no way to "uninstall" it, because it does not come up on the app screen, but it is not really gone.
I called Samsung to see if there was a way I could look at the file structure on the watch , and did hook it up to my computer but could not find any files having to do with Opera.
I need to remove that last remnant of Opera so I can reinstall it, as well. I have successfully installed other apps on the watch, so I know that the watch is functioning well. This is an Opera issue.
thank you

Jcatan99, I was wondering if you ever found a way to uninstall the app. I'm having a similar issue...everytime I open opera the screen goes black....hoping I can uninstall and reinstall
