Hello,
Is is possible to copy a profile from Opera 25 beta from Windows to Opera 25 beta in Linux?
I'd like to copy my speed dial and bookmarks without doing any other harm to the Opera installation in Linux. Thanks

No, copying does not work.
May be Opera Link works now (but his is experimental feature, careful you may loose data).

Opera Sync isn't working in Opera 25 beta, not even with the opera://flags/#synch flag active.
I used it in Windows (in older Next versions) and of course it should be the prefered way of transfering settings, when it is done.
I think they said (can't remember where, maybe in the blogs), that this version O25 was pointing to new Sync servers and were not working because they are still working on them.
Is there a speeddial.ini or equivalent to copy only those settings?

You can copy everything in Opera Windows to Linux. Everything you need to know is profile path. opera://about page is your guide for this information then copy "Bookmarks" and "stash.db" file from profile path to Opera Linux profile path. Before doing this, backup your Opera Profile files.

No, not everything. Passwords can not be copied!

I just copied 'favorites.db' and it copied all my speed dial entries
It's enough for me while waiting for Sync.
