Is there something I'm doing wrong? Everyone else seems to say it's not crashing for them. Does the app just not play well with Developer Preview or something?

hi beta users,
for those who wanted to add another search engine to opera mini such as Bing or Yahoo, pls follow the steps :--
goto the search engine page like example :- Bing.com
-
then press and hold your finger on the search bar of the search engine (the place where we type our queries)
-
after that a small menu pop up, there will be an option to add that search engine to opera mini's list
*now goto to opera's search bar and choose which search engine you want to use as default.
thank you ,
hav a nice day

After a week that it got 3rd update it fixed my problem... it doesnt stuck on the loading screen anymore. it is very smooth when going through the UI's settings and all but when browsing the websites it has small lag example nwanime.com. The UI is old school but it would be great if opera make the UI style suitable for WP8.1. what i noticed that this browser doesnt have HTML5 support at all thats a big minus example m.wpcentral.com. i've been waiting for opera to release their browser to WP for like a year now... since Nokia Lumia 1020 released... ill give this 3 stars since its a beta otherwise i would of giving 2 stars. Oh and 1 more thing when i try to play a video on nwanime.com it tells me to download the video. what i want is it gives me a choice to choose stream the video or download the video that would make me give 1 big star more no matter what other feature is.

Please fix text wrapping. There isn't a single browser on WP that is able to do this and I was really getting my hopes up for Opera.

Hi everyone
Last week we asked for your help to test the beta version of Opera Mini for Windows Phone. The test version is now ready and sent to all the testers that signed up for the beta. For those of you early birds that made it into the beta test, we’d really appreciate if you can give your feedback in this forum string, so we can improve the user experience further.
If you’re one of the unlucky ones that missed the chance to join our Windows beta testers group. Don’t despair, we’re also making the build available to all you Opera Forums users. Have a go at it!
UPDATE:
We have now released an update that should improve the crashing problems some of you experience on start-up. Go to the Windows Phone store and get the new build. The issues with not being able to play video on YouTube has also been fixed.
Download the Opera Mini beta: http://opr.as/f0Y
Enjoy! To start with the positives, the app is not crashing after the update on 9/13. And I really like the tabbed browsing experience here because opening the tabs page on IE on my Lumia 720 takes like forever. The interface looks classic and is snappy.
What it lacks is a private browsing option. And other thing is that it is unable to recognise the phone OS opening primitive sites in place of mobile versions of the sites. Ex. Instead of the prevailing mobile version of youtube , it opens age old version which people used in their non-smart phones -

I kind of dislike the Opera fonts being used in the webpages.
I also dislike the fact there is no auto-hide function for the buttons bar at the bottom of the screen. The UC browser has managed to present a full screen result in its interface, why not Opera too?
Another nice addition from UC Browser I would like to see here too, is the in-app rotation lock as well as the swipe to the right or to the left so as to move to the next or the previous page you 've visited.
