I'm just grateful Opera has resurrected their browsers for Windows Phone. I've been an Opera user on the desk top since Opera ver. 2.32 about 18? years ago. Even paid for two licenses and updates for 4.0 I look forward to your continued efforts on behalf of WP. I'm typing this on my Lumia 520 w\ WP8 and Cyan. Seems very stable. Thanks!

Review for opera mini version 0.9.0.3.
                    From Lumia 630 dual sim.

Crash while browsing problem, the big red "OOPS" logo problems has been fixed. But, the "OOPS" logo appear after loading page if this app close by pressing windows button on screen. I have to close the app completely to solve this problem. So far, all good. The app work perfectly.

Thanks for your hardwork. Now I can surfing freely for free.

I downloaded the latest version on my Lumia 1020, and after a brief period of stability, it is STILL crashing every time I try to open a webpage.

EDIT: I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and now it just crashes in startup without ever properly opening. What gives?

AFTER UPDATE works quite well. Only thing missing is the ability to drag objects in some websites. also some websites do not open them completely!

PS: sorry again for my imperfect English 🙂

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Everyone else seems to say it's not crashing for them. Does the app just not play well with Developer Preview or something?

                            WP8.1, Lumia 635, Opera Mini - beta v 0.9.0.3

This version has fixed the "immediate crashing" problems on my setup. Has not crashed during use.

                              hi beta users,
for those who wanted to add another search engine to opera mini such as Bing or Yahoo, pls follow the steps :-

                              • goto the search engine page like example :- Bing.com

                              • then press and hold your finger on the search bar of the search engine (the place where we type our queries)

                              • after that a small menu pop up, there will be an option to add that search engine to opera mini's list

*now goto to opera's search bar and choose which search engine you want to use as default.

                              thank you ,

                              hav a nice day

Version 0.9.0.3, WP8.1 Update 1, Lumia 1020, Cyan firmware, if that helps. Still immediately crashing.

After a week that it got 3rd update it fixed my problem... it doesnt stuck on the loading screen anymore. it is very smooth when going through the UI's settings and all but when browsing the websites it has small lag example nwanime.com. The UI is old school but it would be great if opera make the UI style suitable for WP8.1. what i noticed that this browser doesnt have HTML5 support at all thats a big minus example m.wpcentral.com. i've been waiting for opera to release their browser to WP for like a year now... since Nokia Lumia 1020 released... ill give this 3 stars since its a beta otherwise i would of giving 2 stars. Oh and 1 more thing when i try to play a video on nwanime.com it tells me to download the video. what i want is it gives me a choice to choose stream the video or download the video that would make me give 1 big star more no matter what other feature is.

Please fix text wrapping. There isn't a single browser on WP that is able to do this and I was really getting my hopes up for Opera.

                                          Hi everyone
Last week we asked for your help to test the beta version of Opera Mini for Windows Phone. The test version is now ready and sent to all the testers that signed up for the beta. For those of you early birds that made it into the beta test, we’d really appreciate if you can give your feedback in this forum string, so we can improve the user experience further.
If you’re one of the unlucky ones that missed the chance to join our Windows beta testers group. Don’t despair, we’re also making the build available to all you Opera Forums users. Have a go at it!
                                          UPDATE:
We have now released an update that should improve the crashing problems some of you experience on start-up. Go to the Windows Phone store and get the new build. The issues with not being able to play video on YouTube has also been fixed.
Download the Opera Mini beta: http://opr.as/f0Y
                                          Enjoy!

To start with the positives, the app is not crashing after the update on 9/13. And I really like the tabbed browsing experience here because opening the tabs page on IE on my Lumia 720 takes like forever. The interface looks classic and is snappy.
What it lacks is a private browsing option. And other thing is that it is unable to recognise the phone OS opening primitive sites in place of mobile versions of the sites. Ex. Instead of the prevailing mobile version of youtube , it opens age old version which people used in their non-smart phones

Hi. I hope to custom the search engine (add a search engine myself), and who can tell me how to add RSS feed?
