Had the same issue as the rest of you. Couldn't see, create or import contacts in Opera browser. Disabled block tracking in Opera security settings and all back to normal.

@jacie Thank you!!! Apparently, I missed that setting. All is back to normal again. Thanks again.

@jacie
Thank you for your suggestion! I unblocked trackers and my contacts re-appeared! Good job! -

Had exactly the same problem (no Contacts appearing in Yahoo -- seemed to work fine in other browsers.
So along with the rest of you I disabled "Block Trackers" in Opera and everything back to normal again. Good catch ! ThanksWondering the practical consequence of disabling "Block Trackers" ? Does Opera support know of the problem it is causing ? Was just about to abandon Opera for another browser. Glad this worked out OK.

@countrygirl1411 I thought I was following you, but when @jacie added the screenshot, the light came on for me. Thanks.

@gp123 Yes, I did enable 'block trackers' but in 'manage exceptions', adding www.yahoo.com' wasn't enough, I had to add the mail link: "https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1" and now my contacts are visible.

@gp123 Just tried it and contacts went away again. Took it off list and contracts back.

@countrygirl1411 You need to add "https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1" to your exclusions list, then it will work properly.

@marcoangels Thanks. That is what I added. My contacts came back without that. Adding that took them away again on my computer.

@countrygirl1411 Very weird! Well at least you got your contacts back and so did I...:)

Yes that is what matters.
Many thanks to all that posted with different things they tried as that is what made me think about disabling the trace blocker.

@earthman If you add that exception to the list, you can turn the tracker back on. "https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1"

The solution which worked for me was:
Opera settings > track > block trackers
