Whatsapp Web Sidebar Slow and Unresponsive

Has anyone been having a really slow and unresponsive experience with the Whatsapp Sidebar?
Im using Opera GX and I dont ever remember it being this slow before two days ago.
Using whatsapp web on the browser directly works just fine without any lag or delay, but in the sidebar pictures for the chats take a while to load, clicking on different chats takes 2-5 seconds to load, and scrolling lags and stops for a few seconds every two scroll swipes, be it up or down.
This is one of the main reasons I wanted to use Opera again, so is there any way to fix this slow and unresponsiveness in the Whatsapp sidebar?
In contrast the instagram side bar works really well and all clicks and submissions respond quickly and properly.
Whatsapp SIdebar is barely usable in this current state

Not only whatsapp but messenger, telegram, instagram all the aps in the bar are very slow, this happens about 3 months ago. In fact I no longer use the bars and little by little it becomes slow and heavy. It should probably be the database that needs to be compacted or something. Please Opera fix this was what kept me in this browser. Also if they could have a Kaspersky extension security is also important.

I came to conclusion that the process called ''Opera Helper (Renderer)'' on Mac OS Activity Monitor viewing is using almost 100% of my Apple MacBook Air 2014's CPU Capacity. When i quit this process, the performance of the browser went back to normal and the operations of the opera browser stayed normal.
I hope this helps someone to figure out why there was this much pressure on cpu at the first place, because i don't want to quit this ''Opera Helper (Renderer)'' process manually every time.
It may be possible that this does not cause a lot of problems to people with more than 2 core CPUs but i still have 2 core cpu with 1.5GHz base clock speed. This can cause many people to not recognise this issue at hand. Therefore i hope someone looks into it.
