I'd like to see a bar show up on the bottom of the page for downloads, similar to what you'd see in chromium based browsers as well as Edge and Chrome. You have the ability to open a download by clicking on it, but also the ability to drag and drop the file. The drag and drop feature is vital for what I do at work, as I am often generating reports via browser and dragging them into other apps or to my email to send.

@tsullivan Personally, I am not convinced by the horizontal download bar. Since "Bookmarks" and "History" can slide out of the sidebar, it would be best to do "Downloads" in the same form.
My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).
