Suggestions in Speed Dial
To put it bluntly, the suggestions feature in speed dial is not satisfactory. You can visit a site once, for less than a second, and it will instantly add it to your site suggestions. There isn't a filter. It even adds those pop-up ads to your suggestions. This is really annoying as many users would like to have genuine suggestions on what site to visit based on their most frequent and commonly visited sites. I feel as though this is a necessary feature for most users and should be properly developed and maintained, not completely neglected.

Icons for Speed Dial
This is a big one and I'm sure that most users can agree that they either dislike the icon feature or don't think it's very intuitive. Only being limited to what "snapshots" the program provides of the site or images that are in the site is very limiting. Users should be able to add their own icons from local storage or maybe even via URL.

News in Speed Dial
The news feature is not at all tailored to the users experience. It has categories for news, which is nice, but it would be objectively better if users were provided with personalized news. If an update ever gets added, it could have a panel where it asks what you like, similar to Deviantart or Pinterest. You pick which ones that interest you (i.e. politics, video games, art, music) and the news brought to you will be a based on that. Although this isn't a necessary change, it would most certainly add convenience to those who like to stay informed.

In an application such as the "first gaming browser", innovation, convenience, and customization are everything. I do hope this post will be taken into consideration for the future of Opera GX.
