While side-bar hides while I click on item?

I use extensions like Vertical Tabs or V7 Tabs, and after updage from 64.0.3417.92 to 67.0.3575.79 it's behavior goes unusable. Because then I click on tab, panel hides and I see no tabs. I must click extension icon on left panel and select other tab. It's not good. How to pin panel? Where is any start option for this? In flags don't see anything.
It's not difficult for developers write something like:

if ($start_options[x]=="--start_with_pinned_panel") then $panel_autohide=off; fi

Do it please. Or say while it's imposible.
