Opera GX install vs 'normal Opera' (PC)

I am already running Opera, I think the 'normal Opera', not the dev_Opera!? definitely not the GX.
Before I install GX and demolish my world
~ 1. VS Code fails to connect a node.js debugging session to my current Opera and why I seek more information ...VS Code never mentions Opera ONLY Chrome
~ 2. does GX provide nodejs debugging? (server side javascript)
~ 3. how do Opera GX and Unity get along? Do they even know each other?
~ 4. will I need to uninstall whatever Opera runs on my box before I install GX?
~ 5. What is dev_Opera?
~ 6. can someone point me to a solution for [NO. 1] using any version of Opera!? GX preferably.
