Limiting the RAM in GX Control doesn't limit the Commit Charge

Even though I set the limit of 2 GB RAM in the GX control, the system allocates a lot more memory in the Commit Charge if I open multiple tabs, causing the browser to crash if I reach the limit. Is there any way I can fix that or is it something that will have to be fixed later with a patch?
