      Using Virt Box - Linux Ubuntu 18.04.2 on Windows and with Windows 7 and Windows 8.0 dual boot. The virtual machine virtual HD file is the same file used on both sides.
      Win 7 VirtBox - vrs 6.0.10 132072 // Win 8.0 VirtBox - vrs 6.1.0 135406
      Right now Ubuntu on top of Windows works well on both sides... Even Opera works pretty well.... except for two cases....

      • When I go to my bank site in Opera in Win 8 - www.tdbank.com... Opera / Ubuntu hangs. It works perfectly in Win 7 - the original system. All other web sites work in Win 7 / Win 8 AFAIK.
      • When I click on the upper left circle to get to Opera Settings in Win 8, Opera / Ubuntu hangs

      I would think that I should be able to get to Opera Settings on either system.... Any help you can provide would be great.....

        @dperecky It’s normal.
        Virtualbox has not good GPU support.

          @adasiko - Thank You for your reply. It's just that it's the same PC, the same .vhd file, but diff virt boxes- different versions and different windows.

          Would you recommend a different virtualization method - Linux on Windows?

          Take Care....
