Just updated Opera Beta to version 66.0.3515.7 on Manjaro, and pop-up videos stopped working, it's just a white rectangle

The video is playing normally, but when I click on the pop-up icon, the pop-up window is just a blank white rectangle that can't even be moved around with a mouse. Meanwhile, the main video becomes black, with a text saying "Playing in picture-in-picture". The sound is still there, so the video is playing, but I can't see it. Another weird thing is that there's a separate "picture in picture" window in the taskbar. Before the update, pop-up videos didn't have their own taskbar entries.
I know that I should expect bugs when using the beta version, I'm just curious if it's a known bug, and if there's some kind of solution, other than waiting for an update that fixes it.
edit: I found the reason! I went to about:flags, and had to disable "Use surface layers in Video Pop-out". Now everything's like before. But I'll leave this thread open, since it seems like a bug, so maybe the devs should know about it.
