Dark mode for the sidebar messenger

I have an extension that changes the Wapp background, so extensions do work on the sidebar. Keep in mind that the sidebar uses the Messenger. com messenger, not the FB Inbox messenger. Anyway, you need an extension to affect the Messenger. com also, not only FB. I think that'll do the trick.

@notorious7302 By side bar I mean the messenger that opens when you click on the messenger icon, in the vertical bar at the left of the screen.
You mentionned you could get dark reader to darken this as well.
I wish to do this, so I asked you for how you did it, if at all.Thank you

Hi ! I managed to find a solution to display sidebar messenger in dark. I installed the "Install Chrome Extensions" from Opera's addon page and then I installed the "Messenger Dark Theme" from Jerry1100 of Chrome Web Store and it works like a charm for me now.
Hope that may help someone.

On you right upper corner click on Easy Setup, and then scroll down to see "Features"
Turn on "Forced Dark Pages" and then turn on "GX Corner Sidebar"
Done

@aymericg man just turn on force dark pages from opera settings
I know it may not work fine on some websites but its better than getting blinded while you are deciding to check messenger at night)) -

You can turn off the Force Dark Pages on the side bar and click the "Configuration" bellow it. From there you click "Add" on the Enable panel then input
https://www.messenger.com
In this way you can specify that the messenger sidebar on OperaGX would only be applied with the force dark page feature

I use the built-in "force dark page" of Opera GX and the messenger on the side bar is in Dark Mode.
Go on the website https://www.messenger.com , right click and activate force dark page.
