Does Opera GX not have the less intrusive "Extensions (side) Bar"?

Why can't I find anyway to activate the smaller "extensions (side) bar"? Which is still a main feature available on the regular Opera Browser...but is it gone from GX?
And if it is, why? and who can I beg to so that they might consider including it in GX? (I mean is it really that much to include that small little side "extensions bar"?)I'm really afraid to find out from you that Opera decided to just leave us with the thick (space wasting) "Side Bar" which is all I've been able to find in the GX settings...but I'm try and remain hopeful until I hear a response from you guys.
Thanks in advance for your help!

@granddaddyopera The answer for the title is no.
Opera GX came from standard Opera, so it should have everything that the standard version has. With that said, they will remove things only for a reasonMy guess is because of the design. They might bring it back in the future, hopefully, with an option to enable/disable it (I really prefer a single sidebar but having more options is always better).
Also, everything you could do to request this was already made with your post, because there's no dedicated "Opera GX Feature request" forum, so you must have faith that some dev will read this topic.

@pspstreet51 thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to answer my questions and for doing it in a very kind and informative manner. I'm of-course aware that it's taken a good amount of time for my inquiry to finally be answered, but I totally understand and can't even imagine how busy it probably gets.
Lastly please know that I truly appreciate everyone like you who volunteers their valuable time to offer their knowledge to try and help fellow users like myself. Thank you again and keep up the awesome work! God bless. - JR
