Website not loading (font issue?)

Hello,
One of my family members is using a (very) old Android phone with Opera Mini. It's working fine, but there was one small issue, whenever trying to open a specific website it would only load part of the website (the textbox, nothing else). The website is the dutch teletext service NOS Teletekst . One strange thing with this website, is that when I was using my own phone and changing some settings in Firefox for Android beta, it would not load the same website correctly if disabling 'Show web fonts', which downloads web fonts if I understand correctly. Could the problem be related to this (font issue)?
Disabling data savings/ad-blocking in Opera Mini and clearing cache didn't help solve the issue. Someone mentioned a #enable-font-cache-scaling flag, but that was for the desktop browser, I could not find the option on Opera Mini. The phone is running Android 4.1.2 with Opera Mini updated (version 43.2.2254.140293 ).
