Opera mini does not save data not blocks ads.

I used Opera mini without any problem on a Samsung S5 until January 2019 when my phone broke down. Bought a Nokia 8 and installed Opera mini on it. Since then, no ads are blocked nor data is saved. Almost at all. Before, it save a couple of hundreds of Mb/day, now maybe ONE Mb/day. Why is this happening?? Yesterday (3rd July), facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp broke down. Then, suddenly, ad blocking and data saving was working. This morning, everything went back to "normal", aka no data saving and no ad blocking. What is the problem?? How can this happen and how can it be fixed??!
