Ability to add custom RSS feed in GX corner?

Right now the GX corner isn't that useful for me as the information it can display is limited, not something I can control a lot. I think it can be made more useful if we could add my own RSS sources into the "Daily News" section. So sort of like the "Personal News" feature, but in the GX corner. Thanks!
