Sometimes it is difficult to find the current tab, esp. if many pages are opend.
I suggest a solution: The current tab have to be incompressible in width.

Don't waste your time posting on this forum. No one cares about long-term Opera users, so I rarely visit now. Try Vivaldi.net where you might find some less likely to fob you off.
I never use the Tab thumbnails, but the active tab can be made a lot more obvious just by using a better skin. This screen shot is taken with the Moi skin.

Editing skins is time-consuming, but if you find one that you like, it's worth the effort.
You will find a few skins for Opera 12, including Moi, in my downloads folder.

Heh?This suggestion is still a valid one IMO. Opera 12 will never get this, but nothing stops them from implementing the suggestion or something similar in the new Chromium-based Opera if they think it's good/useful/interesting.
