Certificate not from a trusted authority

In Opera Mini, but not Touch or desktop, Mini returns a "not from trusted authority" popup for all pages even forums.opera.com pages. What is the problem and how can I fix it?

Only happens on tablet, ASUS TF300T, but not on android 9 phone. Uninstall, reinstall > no change. -

@cal5760 we could not replicate this issue on the ASUS. Could you give us more info regarding the country you are in and browsing mode you are using?

@kgalka I was able to restore from backup and that gave me Opera Mini v42 which did not have the problem. I let that update to v43 and all is still good. Maybe it was a corrupt config file somewhere? Anyway no more certificate problems.
