Can't upload files to Google drive

When I install opera via software center on Ubuntu and try to upload files to my Google drive opera can't access my USB drives... I'm on Ubuntu 18.04

Is that the snap version of opera that you have? If so, it is because snap apps in general have restrictions to what they can access on your system, for security reasons.

Imho, the second option is better, many of reasons (spped, space, etc). And yes, I am anti-snap/appimage/flatpak/whatever is bringing windows-like installation procedures to linux.
