Every now and then I use the function of taking a screenshot from a website. But sometimes these clippings contain something that I would like to hide. In editing, it is possible to add blur. Unfortunately, it is not very good because sometimes the content of the WWW fragment is still visible despite this blur. That's why I have to choose this option several times and mark the fragment several times. Which is simply annoying. Can you add options to set the blur scale after (once) selecting a fragment?

My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

@zalex108 I update Opera Developer, now I have version 62.0.3323.0. In edit snapshot I still don't have scale blur effect. Sometimes I still read text after one time using blur. So I must used him few time...

            Well,
I meant blur level but not scale, since tested and the text became unreadable, but maybe depends on the font size.

            Then,
            nothing.

Why not just paste an opaque box over what you want to hide?

@concretable I mean what? Because I do not see such a tool. If there is a blur, it is used to hide fragments that we do not want to show. Only why sometimes (eg when the text font is bigger) one use of this tool is not enough and we have to use it several times?

If you took a screenshot, why can you not edit it with a graphics editor? Just draw or paste an opaque box over what you want to hide.

@concretable seriously? So why Opera in general in the screen editor has such a tool as blur, pencil and arrow? After all, they might not be at all and the user would have to run the graphic editor (eg GIMP, Photoshop) and apply appropriate effects there... On logic, the screenshot editor in Opera has such tools to make it easier and faster. Yes or no?

I had no idea that Opera could edit screenshots. If you are trying to get a proper job of editing done, why not use Gimp?

@concretable I've already written. After that there are tools in the screenshot editing to make it faster and easier. It is a pity that sometimes you have to use blur several times because after using it and so you can see the content ...
