Better way to split tabs out of windows

If I have a window with multiple tabs, I am able to "pull" a tab away from the window and either make a new window with containing just that tab or add that tab to another window. I find this ability very useful. However, doing this requires using the mouse to click and drag the tab, which I find clunky.
I think it would be better if, at least, there was an item in the right-click menu of each tab to perform this function of creating a new window containing just that tab. In addition to that, I think it would make sense to list this functionality to the "Window" menu in the menu bar, where it can be assigned a keyboard shortcut. I'm not sure how this might be extended to allow a tab to be moved to an existing window, but I think this feature is useful enough even without that ability.
The inability to split a tab off with a keyboard shortcut or menu item is really frustrating on my Mac. I usually use Opera in fullscreen mode on my Mac, but, apparently, no matter how much I drag and fight, I cannot split tabs out of an Opera window while it is fullscreened. I am forced to minimize the window, split the tab, and then corral the two new windows back into their places.
