Opera runs very hot since recent update.

Since updating to 57.0.3098.76 last week my laptop now runs with temperatures around 85⁰C as soon as I open up a youtube video. I tried running opera with all my tabs open except for a video and playing the video in firefox and my CPU doesn´t get as hot. Anybody else who is experiencing the same issue or knows how to fix this?
Running ubuntu 16.04.5 with unity.

Noticing that you are on ubuntu, I have to ask if you have chromium ffmpeg codecs installed?
If yes, opera will play the videos on youtube in h264, which can be hardware accelerated and not stress your cpu that much. If not, opera will play them in webm which can not be hardware accelerated, so your cpu will have to do the playback and heat up.
