Adress bar lag when typing

Since some days, when I'm typing in the adress bar, there's a some delay between when I type and when I can see the letters. It's very frustating.
Otherwise, everything works fine.

Hi @funeoz, as a workaround for the issue, try to disable opera:flags#better-address-bar, restart the Opera, and check if this helps.

Any info on what this flag really does? I switched it to disabled, restarted opera and I see no difference.

Same here, but I found this:

So it won't make a difference if all that dropdown crap is already turned off by other options or flags.

Hi @jimunderscorep, it should switch on/off the feature, and for some users disabling it works as a workaround for lag, when typing on the address bar.

I disabled the "better-address-bar" option and now it's fine!
