Forced use of Google to search in Opera Touch

Why is it that when I open Opera Touch, it seems like it wants to force me to use Google to search? I'm trying to get away from Google, that's the whole reason I have Opera. This makes no sense to me. Very confusing. Thank you.

I concur on this.
F* google and if Opera keeps this up they will go down also. -

Indeed, if/when Google remains the only option, there' s little incentive for me to use it. (although I like the speed)

@mike-kemp-opera I detest Google as well and I suspect that Paypal is now trying to block Opera from Paypal.
