When will the new version of Easy Youtube Video Downloader be approved for use?

I understand that the new version of Easy Youtube Video Downloader has been submitted to Opera for approval but has not been reviewed, as yet. Does anyone know when this will be reviewed and/or approved? I download instructional videos for projects I work on and would like the ability to do it in Opera.
I use Opera for everything except Youtube downloads. It is very inconvenient to have to open a different browser just to do a download.
Thanks for you help. -

Is it available for Chrome also? If so, install this extension and go to the Chrome web store in Opera and install it.
Or, if you can find the download for the Opera version, you can drag it to
opera://extensions
. If you have the unpacked version of the extension (just the folder), you can switch to developer mode inopera://extensions
and choose to load the unpacked extensions. -

I contacted the programmer when he released the updates for other browsers, when it stopped working on Youtube. I asked when he was going to release the update for Opera. He said he would be working on it in a few days. That was a month or so ago.
I just got notified that he'd done another update to the version for Firefox and I contacted him again and nudged him about the Opera version. He responded that he'd submitted the Opera version to Opera for approval but for some reason the moderators had not approved it.
His comments were what caused me to open this topic. I was hoping someone had just forgotten to review it and approve it for release and my topic would cause them to approve it.
I don't know how or where to find the new version that you mentioned. Wish I did. I'd like to be able to do my downloads in Opera.
He said he would be working on a Chrome version that would be released pretty soon.

See this FYI from Opera about the long approval time. Hopefully Opera will sort that out. https://forums.opera.com/post/128215
Is this the Firefox version you're talking about? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/easy-youtube-video-download/
If so, you can keep an eye out in https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions for the Chrome version, which you can install in Opera using the method I mentioned previously. I don't see it in the Chrome web store yet, so have the FYI you when it's ready.
