Set tab bar background color

Tab bar randomly changes color, always really bizarre and ugly colors, like maybe the person responsible for maintaining the tab bar is mentally ill or taking drugs. Is there a way of selecting a normal background color and keeping it there or does Opera have such a mess of errors that nobody has time to handle such a basic usability feature.
