Opera 51 Messenger uses 100% CPU

Hello,

OS Ubuntu 17.10, it affects both desktop environments, Gnome 3.26 and KDE Plasma 5.12. When Opera is launched after 15 seconds computer fan starts to work. I have to kill the FB messenger and then carry on without any issues. It started at least in Opera 50, however in earlier versions prior 50, I had not observed this problem. What are possible solutions?
