Suggestions for Opera News.

I am looking for a new news aggregator. I see that there are already numerous suggestions to improve Opera News that would create features similar to Google News, like subject categories to sort articles into (World, US, Business, Sports, Tech, specialty topics, etc. For myself, I put them into those categories, in that order of display, FWIW.) Also I see that folks are complaining that unlike Google News, you cannot block undesired sources. If Opera would like to supplant the now degraded Google News, have a look at it, or if possible the previous version, before June 27th, 2017, which doesn't have all the dumbing down, whitespace, "In the News," "Fact Check," "Spotlight," "Sections" which has to be shut, instead of opened, less articles and yet more white space! I have looked at News360, Flipboard, Feedly, Apple News, Digg, etc. Even degraded as it is--why don't they allow a legacy option?--none is as good as Google News, to me. Google News does keep trying to add new sources, most of which I block, but one has the impression that they are casting a fairly wide net.
