Master Password for accessing saved passwords.

I'm new to Opera and like it a lot. However, there seems to be one very basic feature missing that makes it unusable for me: the easy access to saved passwords. I still can't get my head around the fact that it is so easy to import all my bookmarks and other settings, including passwords, from Firefox to Opera only to see them displayed and searchable in clear text. Just to take the wind out of the sails. The argument "but you logged on to your operating system with your credentials" is not good enough. Especially in family settings it's impractical to constantly log in and out just because Opera seems to have a very lax approach to data protection. All the passwords are only 3 clicks away from the main window, for heavens sake.
Other than that, it's a really good browser that is able to display web sites properly when Firefox failed. So, I'm actually disappointed since Opera looks like a very good browser yet seems to let users down on such a basic level.
