tabs take up a lot of RAM memory. as a solution it would be possible to automatically suppress them from activity, but it is important not to remove them from the tab bar and simply to notice an icon which means that the tab is muted, you can cache them on the hard disk, and restore when the tab is in focus. or in the tab bar, make a button-box that contains those tabs.
Of course, when mute tabs automatically there will be a question: how to handle tabs in which a process is started (for example, playing music or running youtub), so it would be nice if at least we could suppress them manually.
And when opera is startind, would be nice if suppresed tabs would be not updating.
