Who knows if Frank Sinatra's voice always was like this or if it deteriorated because of his smoking?
"NewYork, NewYork!" on YouTube: I thought GaGa was blunt, then I found that FS sounded practically the same. Could it be his older gigs only shown there?
I thought I remembered a great cabaret performance of the song... With deep clear voices, long breaths, etc. -

I'm still "if I could fly like birds on high, then straight to your arms", believe it or not. I seem to prefer Williams's version, I think: longer and more elaborate, 42 Wallaby Way Sydney:)
Meanwhile, what does "folk song, written by poet Donald Macintyre" mean?
In Russia we do have a term "folklore", but to music, we apply term "народная" ("people's"), so the question.
It's about Òran na Cloiche.
Does it mean that the melody was written by people then came Donald and used it? In Russia, we wouldn't keep calling it "народная" then... -

I love Third Watch. In Season 3's episode 7, "Childhood Memories", there is a song by Canadian "Nickelback", How you Remind me.

Still love it! Downloaded a few versions, alike but slightly different: in the 3:42 version (as in the YouTube video) the start of the song feels a bit abrupt, if I can use that word, "BANG! never made as a wise man...".
Right.
In the same season's "Unleashed", at the beginning a passage was used, very energetic. I found it: “Battery” by Die Krupps (Re-Filtered by Filtered Section). -

Downloaded their earlier "Follow the Blind" album some time back. Not that impressive, sounds raw and scratchy. Any thoughts on the band's musical evolution?
Who likes Power Metal? What do you like from it?
I'm a bit rusty, don't know anybody new there. In yonder years of prominence, Scandinavians were mostly famous of it... But some I didn't perceive as Power, however they were popular. -

Extinction (2018) - Action, Drama, Sci-Fi.
