Look at How to report problems in Opera steps.
For the clean profile:
- Opera Help > Find solutions.
| - And rename the profile folder -.

Even happens in a clean profile?
Did it before (kill tabs/reopen) without problems?

Then,
Try an older one: Opera FTP.

You can:
- Install the older one in another folder.
- Copy your current profile.
- Add a switch to open the older Opera pointing to the profile copy and test it there.
If works, you can keep that installation until the bug will be fixed.
I don't know if you can run Opera in portable mode on Linux.
