      we have the + at the end of the last tab to open new tabs, so no need for the middle click for new tabs. what i would like to see is when you middle click on a existing tab it is duplicated not closed.

                @litlightbulb

                Not just the wheel is more comfortable, the address bar space is bigger than the + to open a new tab.

                  @zalex108 Yes I wish they add my suggestion, I really miss from the old Opera and envy Mozilla for that.

                    @chuchkyschild With + button you have to aim on it, with FF behavior you don't need to aim. The free space is much bigger than +.

                        Do you mean open a new blank tab or do you mean open a link in a new tab? Imgur does not seem to work very well any more. I could not see your image there. Opening a link in a new tab works for me with middle-click. I can also close a tab with middle-click.
