The new Opera browser has come a long way since it came out. Performance is good, UI is responsive, and it's got many add-on like features built in, of which only a few are generally needed by most people. Why is it that we still don't have tab stacking in this browser? Is it really that hard to bring this feature back? It would make a huge difference for those of us who keep tabs across browsing sessions and need to have tabs grouped to prevent tab clutter.

      Thanks,
      Gary

        +1

One of the last features I would really love see coming back as it cannot be done via browser addons. Instead they include stuff like the recent screenshot tool, which is nothing you really need to be an inbuilt function..

It's not coming any time soon. Not this year. Not next year either - I'm afraid I'm rather quite positive to say that.

I agree that it's the one feature from Opera 12 that I truly miss - and every day I have tab trouble which Tab Stacking would sort out neat and perfect.

Hmm perhaps tab stacking isn't what to forge for - but rather reinvent tab grouping, stacking, sticking, glueing,, however.

I have a feeling that initial action would be good to happen at Chromium. Albeit Vivaldi did it 😉

@rekuzar I rather have Snap as built in tool than to shuffle my pics to a 3rd party server.
