Password manager security

Hi there,
I recently installed Opera 47 on my Ubuntu 16.04, and I'm a bit confused by the password manager. All my saved passwords are easily accessible, it only takes 4 clicks and something like 10 seconds to read all my passwords. The password manager did save them in my default keyring, but while the keyring requires a password, Opera doesn't...
I've read that it was possibile to add a master password but was disabled for safety reasons, and that with windows OS, asking for the password asks for user sessions's password. But nothing like this on ubuntu.
That mean's that currently, I can't save any password in the dedicated secure password manager as anyone can very easily access to them if I leave my computer for like 15 seconds. I mean, I must have missed something, it can't be that easy right ? I've dowloaded opera to get security and privacy features like VPN and password management...
Thank you in advance for any anwser.
