      For some reason I am getting an error message when I try to install opera-stable.

      Here is output from my console.

      I am not really too familiar with the way apt deals with the security keys but I wondered if it might be something wrong on the server.

      $ sudo apt update

        In a terminal and in that order

        wget https://deb.opera.com/archive.key
        sudo apt-key add archive.key
        sudo apt-get update

        and you are done
