I'm making a new omnibox Google search related extension, I was thinking I'd like people to test it before I release it (if release it). I'm still pondering about what features to include etc.

      Functionality currently:

      • Omnibox Google Search will always use (https) google.com
      • Search results urls stripped of url-extra giving direct links

      Currently in consideration:

      • should rather use encrypted.google.com or make different extension

      Features planned:

      • TBA

If you want to test it I'd need a way to send extension files to you, I'm not exactly sure how to proceed on that.

Well it is - and as always with every extention: U can always go through the source code. Tip: Search all files containing http <--- as if the ext sends any of your data it will be to an url.

I have checked every extensions source that I've DL'ed either from Addons here or from Chrome. Only few has had tracking.

For extension proofing I'll recommend this: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/extension-source-viewer/?display=en

(if you use that then u don't need that other chrome install ext)
