Not able to download pdf files from Gmail on Opera Mini Android

Hello,
I am having an issue with downloading pdf files on gmail.com on Opera Mini. I'm using the latest version of Opera mini from Play Store.
I have logged in to one of my Gmail accounts in opera mini. Now, I got a mail with an attached pdf file but the file does not download. It opens directly in the browser but since it has images it does not display properly. I would like to download it and open from Adobe but cannot download it no matter what.
I know I can open Gmail from Chrome and then download it but I would like to keep that account opened on Opera itself. If there is any way to download the pdf or even view the entire content of the pdf that would be great.
Please do let me know if there is any way to do that.
