Left alt key - dropdown menu

How can i deactivate the left alt key from bringing the dropdown menu everytime i press alt
It's too annoying, everytime i switch the language layout the dropdown menu comes
so now it becomes alt+shift then Esc to change language layout

Agreed - this is super annoying and should be pretty easy to disable as an option, right?
