V7 Bookmarks not working

Why does the extension V7 Bookmarks not export bookmarks to HTML any more? I am now using Opera 45.0.2552.888. It was working before, with an earlier version of Opera 45. It is not interference from another extension, since it does not work with all other extensions disabled. Is there some kind of tweak that could be done to it?

I found out that the new version of V7 Bookmarks does not work. How do I stop it from updating itself?

what doesn't work?
search bar or something else? (I know about the trash folder titles and export without favicons... it will be fixed soon)

if it is a search bar, it was a Opera bug on OS X
you should update to latest Stable or Beta

Are your Opera updated?

If I'm not wrong, that "sidebar extensions" problem was fixed in the latest Opera update.

I use V7 to export the bookmarks. Version 4.1 works, but version 4.1.5 does not. It would be fine if I could prevent it from updating itself.

one of the export functions got bugged with last update, but other works fine (with favicons)

ps. you can't prevent extension updates

I do not want favicons. Maybe that would not matter, since I locked the Favicons file in the profile, so none get saved anyway? I tried removing the update line in manifest.json in the extension setup in the profile. Would that not stop the updates?
