I have tried Opera repeatedly and have found it to be faster than any other browser, but inevitably end up removing it as I always have problems getting videos to play. I have searched the forum and tried everything suggested and never have any luck. I really like Opera overall but the inability to play videos is a deal killer for me. The error is always the one mentioned in the title of my post. I am running the 64 bit version of Linux lite. Has anyone else run into this problem with Linux lite and been able to fix it?

Since it is based on ubuntu, the solution (= installing chromium-codecs-ffmpeg and chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extras) applies to that one too.
