mkristopher last edited byOnce again streaming flash is no longer working properly after latest update.
Youtube works fine, but streaming no longer working. Here are a few examples:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJC-vohDHl8
http://www.livenewschat.eu/canada/Previously had it working by using:
 mkdir /usr/lib/PepperFlash
 cp libpepflashplayer.so /usr/lib/PepperFlash/...but now, nothing...
Works fine with Firefox - getting frustrated with this seemingly ongoing problem with Opera.
 Any help is much appreciated.

A Former User last edited byIt's the same old story. At each release Opera is proud of speeding things up for 1% but video/audio is a persistent problem. I think that time has come to dump Opera after so many years. I really get fed up with this eternal audio/video problem. I know Opera is not supporting these codecs out of the box, but I have no idea why it's fscking up my config at each upgrade. R.

A Former User last edited byWhen replacing opera's libffmpeg.so by the chromium one I get this: /usr/bin/opera: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/opera: undefined symbol: avcodec_parameters_to_contextR.

mkristopher last edited by adminThank you. After following the discussion here:
 https://forums.opera.com/topic/19182/opera-browser-does-not-play-twitter-videos-and-gifs-again/17
...and trying the suggestions, still not working.Had to go here:
 https://get.geo.opera.com/pub/opera/desktop/
...and install previous stable version, which works just fine.Opera is my preferred browser, but these ongoing issues with video/streaming/flash is just getting out of hand...
