Installing an extension by copying a profile

Is it possible to make an extension work by copying the profile it was installed in?
Copying from "C:\Users\user1\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable" to the same directory of user2 and launching the same version of Opera under user2's account results in a corrupted extension message and its removal from the list of installed extensions when attempting to repair.
I unsuccessfully tried replacing all "user1" strings with "user2" in the profile files. The extension is uBlock Origin 1.9.16.
What else can be done? Thank you.
