Whenever I launch opera it sits there with no tabs open and will crash as soon as I goto any URL ... here is what dmesg says

Please advise ... possibly as simple as clearing some cache to reset current condition to start fresh ?

Evidently after several failed attempts to launch the browser it automatically disables all extensions so subsequent launch ran fine ... after enabling the extensions it continues OK

... root cause unknown yet all is well

this crash loop is happening again today ... I have disabled all extensions still it crashes every 20 seconds or so without me doing anything even on a very simple page ... I can see crash reporter is kicking in

on ubuntu in an attempt to start clean I renamed dir

mv ~/.config ~/.config~priorart

yet this was no help - opera-developer --version 41.0.2349.0
continues to crash without doing anything very 20 seconds or so
