Hello to all.,
I'm trying to install Java Plugin according to the tutorial :
http://www.opera.com/docs/linux/plugins/install/
in vain.
I created symbolic like to :
/usr/java/jre1.8.0_101/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so
in both two directories :
/usr/lib64/opera/plugins
/usr/lib64/mozilla/plugin
and have tried for both.
Opera browser ( 39.0.2256.71-Korora23(Coral)x68_64;Gnome) won't detect them.
--- Mozilla/5.0(x11;Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36(KHTML,like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36 OPR/39.0.2256.71---Is there someone who has succeeded to make the plugin work ?
Many thanks in advance for your help and advices.

No.
As stated in the documentation, it is outdated:
This document was last updated for Opera 11.00.
Java is not supported on either Opera, Chrome or Chromium on Linux, and it will not be either. If you for some reason want to use Java in your browser, you have to use Firefox.
However, Java in the browser will be discontinued by Oracle and I don't see any reason for you to install it, as almost no sites use it and those who do seem to me like renovation objects.

And sorry for the documentation not being updated, Opera simply has a demand to mislead and confuse users, that must be the reason for why they don't update it. The case is hopeless I'm afraid.
